Our peptide-based drugs address the pathological role of inflammation by acting as resolution therapy, terminating the inflammatory response and inducing regeneration in the affected tissue.
Strategy
Recent clinical discoveries pinpoint inflammation as an important determinant of prognosis in cardiovascular disease, an opportunity for therapeutic intervention that is not addressed by currently available treatments.
We focus on acute, critical-care, cardiovascular interventions with a big unmet medical need. We believe that our novel, pro-resolving therapies have potential to provide additional therapeutic benefit for these patients.
